According to the U.S. Dept. of Energy, the U.S. average price for a gallon of diesel fuel last week was $4.104/gallon . eia This is down from the previous week when it was $4.124/gallon .

The fuel surcharge for the week of 05/09/11 will be .74 cents per mile or 38.50%.
